1. Encourage customers to visit you to collect their goods
Rather than posting the goods to your customer, ask them to pick them up in person.
Especially if you suspect something is off.
2. If you do post the goods
Request the courier to sight the ID and obtain a signature from the person receiving the goods.
3. Check their ID matches their application
Be sure that the person who collects the items is the person pictured on the Driver’s Licence or Photo ID provided, and matches the name in the application.
4. Be cautious of suspicious behaviour
If something seems a bit strange, it very well may be. Be cautious of customers who are only contactable via email or calls go straight to voicemail.
If in doubt, don’t hesitate to call us on 1300 338 496 or email us at email@example.com for next steps before releasing goods. To reduce the chance of chargebacks, make sure you take steps to minimise fraud to the best of your ability.
